What is Teeline?...

It has become the preferred shorthand system of journalists because:

  • it is based on the letters of the alphabet already familiar to us (user friendly)

  • it incorporates usual abbreviations and texting techniques (b for be, r for are)

  • it has a light rote-learning memory load and is considered 'instinctual'

  • you need 100 hours to reach 100 wpm

2. The letters are written in a streamlined form
