“Having been away for over a year, I came back to London ready to start work again.

With no interest in my CV, my spirits were at an all time low when I kept my appointment there with Maria. I was greeted with a radiant smile and lots of sensible questions, then Maria clearly presented the Microsoft office package and helped me decide on the best options. She introduced me to Love & Tate, the associated recruitment agency. The consultant took time to really go over my CV and get to understand me. Wow! Within 3 days I was training and had a temporary job to tide me over. With flexible training times I was able to ‘earn while I learned. Fantastic – and several of my friends have now had the same experience!”

“I started at Pitman Training – Oxford Circus when I had just finished 6th Form and was looking for my first career job. The Pitman Course adviser carefully helped me choose the right course and I completed the Executive PA Diploma with shorthand. I reached 80 wpm. The training method was very flexible, the courses really useful and the staff were so helpful and patient. I met lots of new people and made some life long friends, so I thoroughly enjoyed it. On gaining my Diploma, Love and Tate found me some temporary jobs with the Financial Times and Turning Point and then I was ready to start my permanent career. “When I first came to England I sold properties abroad. My background before that had been in computer programming – in Bulgaria and Israel. I wanted a change and as I enjoy working with numbers, I was considering accounting. I approached Pitman Training and, after a consultation with a Course Advisor, I signed up for the Accounting Technician Diploma. I continued working and completed the Diploma within a year. I started applying for jobs just before I finished my course and was amazed and delighted at the response and the type of jobs I was able to apply for. “Before attending Pitman Training I had been working as a PA in my home country of Portugal and for four months in England with an option to continue. However due to a need for solid qualifications to gain the sort of job I really wanted, I decided to give up my job and pursue a training course with Pitman’s at Oxford Circus.
