in Pitman 2000 and Pitman New Era are available on
request, however unless you are refreshing on an already established
skill we would recommend learning the popular Teeline
system.
Pitman 2000 was introduced in the 1960s providing a simplified version
of the already established Pitman New Era system. However, a little
later came the bliss of
Teeline introduced by James Hill from Nottingham. His
Teeline was easier still as it was based on spelling and alphabet adaptations rather than
phonetics.
You will find Teeline quick to grasp and after a few lessons you can be writing.
Teeline shorthand is now the most popular version for beginners.
